Answer:I have a small pot of 'creeping jenny' in the pot... Small, as in, 1 pint that I water every other day.

Question:I am wondering if I could drill some holes in the bottom container and actually set it in a very shallow pond so it would draw water in from the small

Answer:Yes you could do that,, I would drill a large hole so the water would flow freely
